Job summary

Samet Corporation seeks a Project Manager I to own construction delivery from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality are met. You will mentor engineers and coordinators, cultivate client relationships, and drive day‑to‑day decisions for successful, on‑time project delivery.

Based in our Greensboro, NC office, you will participate in preconstruction activities, develop cost projections, and implement risk management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience managing commercial/industrial, education, multi-family, or healthcare construction projects.
• LEED Green Associate accreditation status (preferred).
• 30-Hour OSHA certification.
• Proven ability to exceed client expectations and solve problems.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project procurement strategy, trade partner solicitation, take-offs, and general conditions development.
• Manage designers and design/procurement completion for various delivery methods.
• Support sales presentations and develop and maintain client relationships before, during, and after construction.
• Develop Project Management Plans and responsibility matrices.
• Create detailed project schedules using company software and WBS for owner contracts.
• Maintain project documentation including logs and progress reports.
• Mentor junior project managers, engineers, and coordinators.
