Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Pre-Construction Project Manager for our Savannah, GA office. You will coordinate design services and deliver cost estimates, shaping client perception from day one.

The role includes take-offs, bid coverage, and collaboration with architects and engineers to establish pre-construction foundations for successful projects. You will manage vendor/subcontractor bids, develop value-based proposals, and support turnover from pre-construction to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of building codes/regulations and construction processes.
• Knowledge of delivery methods (Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, CMAR).
• Experience with cost estimating principles and quantity take-off.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs and develop quantities for cost estimates.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and contract cost estimates.
• Collaborate with architects/engineers on design concepts.
• Review design documents for accuracy and constructability.
• Solicit bids to achieve 3 bids per trade.
• Maintain subcontractor/vendor relationships for competitive bids.
• Assist in proposal responses and project turnover.
