Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Project Executive based in Greensboro, NC, to lead multiple construction projects from kickoff to completion. You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality meet expectations.

You will manage client relationships, identify risks, and mentor early-career builders while driving safety and quality initiatives across sites. A strong local market knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (required).
• 10–12 years of related experience, or 15+ years of experience overall (required).
• Strong understanding of the Triad and surrounding counties’ construction market and best practices.
• Mastery of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of the commercial construction industry and construction operations principles (required).
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• LEED AP or LEED Green Associate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from kickoff to completion, overseeing project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to Samet’s quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop innovative solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and other issues.
• Monitor project budgets, review cost estimates, track expenses, and implement cost control measures.
• Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, owners, and subcontractors to set expectations and maximize client satisfaction.
• Consult with project development team members to support efforts to win prospective project bids.
• Advocate compliance with health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment on construction sites.
• Support, and at times initiate, continuous quality and safety improvement initiatives.
• Extend career development activities to early-career construction professionals to grow Samet’s internal talent pipeline.
