Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for our Charleston, SC region to own project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You will safeguard budgets, schedules, and quality while leading complex projects to profitability.

You will mentor junior project managers and coordinate with designers, trade partners, and owners to ensure successful, on-time completion. This role requires site travel and a collaborative, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial/industrial, education, multi-family, or healthcare construction projects.
• LEED Green Associate accreditation status (preferred) and 30-Hour OSHA certification.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to work at sites and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project procurement strategy, trade partner solicitation, take-offs, and general conditions development.
• Manage design and procurement for negotiated, design-build, or construction management at-risk projects.
• Support sales presentations and maintain client relationships before, during, and after construction.
• Develop PMP, teamwork plans, and responsibility matrices.
• Create project schedules and detailed scopes of work; manage buyout strategies for profitability.
