Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness. You will manage project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentor the project team, and develop strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.

The role requires coordinating with vendors and subs, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring adherence to Mortenson policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a construction-related field.
• Six+ years of related experience.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of construction law and industry practices.
• Experience in commercial construction, EPC contracting, or renewable energy is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project/web applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall financial health of projects.
• Support and lead EPC contract negotiations and project schedules.
• Lead vendor procurement and bid/award for subs and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financials and equipment projections.
• Allocate estimates into the financial system and approve invoices.
• Provide financial reports and owner billings.
