Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager I to lead MEP-dominant projects, guiding the team through budgeting, scheduling, quality, safety, and client relations. The role emphasizes financial stewardship, subcontract management, and coordination to ensure on-time delivery.

The successful candidate will mentor the project team, interact with staff at all levels, and maintain professional relationships with owners and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience required.
• Detail orientation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/web applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial health of projects.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and budgets.
• Manage subcontracts and suppliers; oversee budget and trade partners.
• Oversee 3-D coordination, commissioning, and project closeout.
