Job summary

Trailhead Recruiting is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Arizona to oversee heavy civil and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role requires leadership to manage multidisciplinary teams, maintain client satisfaction, and ensure schedule and budget integrity on projects ranging from $1M to $30M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods for civil infrastructure (earthwork, utilities, concrete structures, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage public works projects with DOTs, municipalities, and utilities.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in all aspects of construction from procurement to project completion.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, HeavyJob, HCSS).
• Work closely with superintendents and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
