Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods for civil infrastructure (earthwork, utilities, concrete structures, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage public works projects with DOTs, municipalities, and utilities.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in all aspects of construction from procurement to project completion.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, HeavyJob, HCSS).
• Work closely with superintendents and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Trailhead Recruiting is currently looking for a Construction Project Manager for a premier Heavy Civil / Infrastructure Contractor in Arizona. Specialties include water/wastewater infrastructure, roadway and bridge construction, underground utilities, site development, and related civil works.

This Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Heavy Civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in self-perform work, a deep understanding of public infrastructure projects, and the leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams while maintaining client satisfaction, schedule, and budget integrity. Projects range from $1M to $30M+ in scope.

Responsibilities:
