Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Project Manager for Heavy Civil / Transportation in the Phoenix area. Lead large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients and agencies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil or land development, including mass grading, utilities, and road construction, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in heavy civil, transportation, or land development.
• Experience managing projects for public agencies (>$5M) and/or private land development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budget control skills.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals to determine scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Develop work plans and assign responsibilities to project staff.
• Oversee subcontract awards, POs, and change order negotiations.
• Arrange permits, drawings, and submittals as required.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve issues with project teams.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to management and clients.
• Monitor job cost data and perform regular financial reviews.
• Ensure work adheres to safety standards and quality specs.
• Lead project closeout activities including final quantities and documentation.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
