Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large mechanical construction projects in Arizona from pursuit through close-out. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Minimum 8 years in project management on heavy industrial projects and a BS in Construction Management or Engineering. Proficiency in Procore, AutoCAD, ECMS, and P6 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience on large and complex mechanical construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Outlook, and related software; knowledge of Procore, AutoCAD, ECMS and P6 desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce adherence to project plans, safety, quality, and environmental plans.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, assess cost and schedule impacts.
• Oversee project schedules, procurement, and resource management.
• Maintain relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and the local community.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead career development.
