Schimenti Construction Company in Manhattan, NY seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of construction projects, coordinate all planning and activities, and ensure project objectives are achieved.

The role requires managing pre-construction through closeout, maintaining client and subcontractor relations, controlling budgets, schedules, change orders, and payments while guiding teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills required.
• Experience with MS Project or equivalent.
• Procore or similar software experience.
• Timberline/Sage experience a plus.
• College degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management across all phases from pre-construction to closeout
• Manage fast casual dining or retail projects with 15-20 week durations
• Coordinate budgets, schedules, change orders, and payments
• Develop client, architect, subcontractor, and industry relationships
• Review subcontractor and vendor invoices; approve or negotiate changes
• Oversee change orders and RFIs and ensure project progress
• Maintain communication with clients on progress and budgets
• Ensure punch list completion and project closeout
