Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a Project Manager, Construction for Retail, Food & Beverage in our New York, NY office. You will lead planning and build-out execution, overseeing projects from inception to completion, coordinating teams, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will manage bid processes, liaise with client teams, QA/QC, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in Construction Management or related roles.
• Experience with Food & Beverage, Retail, Branding or Luxury projects a plus.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in various stages of development and with various degrees of complexity.
• Ability to provide clear direction and accurate project updates to various levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of contracts and contract execution procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and PM tools, and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams, ensuring deliverables meet contract, schedule, and budget.
• Create and maintain milestone-based schedules and staffing workplans.
• Assist with development of proposals and RFP responses.
• Monitor project financial status and conduct reviews.
• Produce weekly project updates with contract, financial, and permitting docs.
• Lead internal and external project team meetings.
• Participate in QA/QC procedures for assigned projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and results.
• Manage resources to ensure quality and profitability.
• Provide feedback to team members.
