Schimenti Construction Company in New York City is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of commercial construction projects from our Manhattan, NY office. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client relations to ensure project objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of construction PM experience, including fast casual dining or retail builds, and has led 15-20 week high-intensity projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction PM experience.
• Experience in fast casual dining or retail construction.
• Experience as sole PM lead on high-intensity projects.
• Ability to manage RFIs and change orders with Procore.

Responsibilities

• Support jobs and PM teams through all project phases.
• Identify constructability issues and costs.
• Manage budgets, billings, subcontractor payments, and change orders.
• Ensure on-time completion and target profits.
• Maintain relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors.
• Oversee change orders and RFIs.
• Communicate progress and budget to clients.
• Respond to delays and emergencies.
• Ensure punch list completion.
