Job summary

McKinstry in Portland, OR is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead energy project delivery safely, on time and on budget. You will coordinate resources, manage plans and scopes, and act as the primary liaison among GC, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years in PM, Engineering or Construction; Bachelor's in Construction Management; proficient in MS Project/Primavera; OSHA 30; PE/CPM/LEED preferred; strong financial and communication skills; competitive pay and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
• Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or SureTrak.
• Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
• Experience with a General Contractor or major mechanical subcontractor is preferred.
• PE, CPM, LEED designations are preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• CPM/PE/LEED designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies required resources to achieve project goals.
• Generates preliminary assessments, technical solutions, fee proposals, presentations, and studies.
• Primary contact for project engineering staff during construction.
• Transitional activities from design to construction and to completion.
• Communicates with GC, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and stakeholders.
• Develops and manages project plans, schedules and scopes of work.
• Defines project responsibilities to staff.
• Documents and resolves subcontractor and vendor billing issues.
• Assists business development in RFP and bids.
• Ensures site safety and regulatory compliance.
