McKinstry, based in Portland, OR, is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for its Electrical Construction division. You will support RFPs, manage procurement, track multiple projects, review contracts, and help develop scopes of work with subcontractors while maintaining close communication with general contractors, architects, and owners.

The role requires a strong ownership mindset, solid technical background, and the ability to interpret drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or comparable degree preferred
• Knowledge of construction concepts preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Salesforce, ViewPoint and Accubid preferred

Responsabilités

• Support the RFP and procurement process and track current and future jobs
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications
• Assist in scheduling and in developing scope of work with subcontractors
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and change orders
• Communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners
