Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager for the Starlink production facility in Redmond, WA. You will lead cross-disciplinary engineers to design, build, and activate infrastructure, overseeing projects from inception to close-out with autonomy and a focus on on-time, under-budget delivery.

The role involves coordinating with facility teams, vendors, and internal partners to support goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering related discipline with 2+ years of related experience OR 7+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience reading/interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations; ability to mark up coordination items.
• Experience with major construction project management including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with PDF editors (Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat) and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional permitting and environmental agency processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own full lifecycle of projects to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction.
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors and evaluate bids.
• Develop final project cost and schedule; implement controls for cost, schedule, and scope.
• Prepare and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across disciplines.
• Coordinate with city, county, and regulatory approvals; resolve field design/ construction conflicts.
• Manage invoicing, project requests, and work orders; ensure completion to specification.
