Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Starlink, based in Redmond, WA. Lead multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects from inception to close-out, coordinating with engineers, designers, contractors, and internal customers to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage scope, cost, and schedule while overseeing proposals, bids, and permits. A related degree with experience or a PE license is preferred for growth and leadership within SpaceX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline and 2+ years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management OR 7+ years of professional experience in construction, engineering, or facilities management in lieu of a degree
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred for assignment and advancement
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations; ability to mark up and coordinate items

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of multi-discipline construction projects from scope through close-out
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors and evaluate bids
• Develop final project cost and schedule and manage cost controls
• Coordinate with end users, facilities, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and approvals
• Review and manage construction contracts and contractor performance
• Ensure safety inspections and compliance with regulatory requirements
