Job summary

Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in construction management, facilities management, planning & design or related field.
• - Valid California driver’s license.
• - Three years of progressively responsible experience in managing new construction, renovation, retrofit and/or repair projects valued over $35,000.
• - Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools in construction or repair of buildings.
• - Knowledge of business and management principles for project planning and resource allocation.
• - Ability to analyze, synthesize and present findings clearly to different audiences.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Google Drive/Folders/Forms, Adobe Acrobat.
• - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• - Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; able to collaborate across functions.
• - Commitment to justice, equity, inclusion & diversity.
• - Adaptable to a high-volume, high-accountability environment with changing priorities.
• - Strong organizational, time-management and planning skills.
• - Ability to work independently and provide leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• - Meet with stakeholders to define goals, scope, schedule, and ROM budget.
• - Oversee design phase with architects/engineers; manage RFPs and schedules.
• - Administer contracts; monitor site, update schedule and budget; conduct meetings.
