Occidental College is seeking a Project Manager in the Planning, Design & Construction department to oversee projects from concept through construction, coordinating architects, engineers, and contractors. The role includes drafting contracts, change orders, and RFPs, and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in construction management, facilities management, planning & design or other fields related to position responsibilities.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in managing new construction, renovation, retrofit and/or repair projects with value over $35,000.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate design processes (Concept, SD, DD, CD) and manage consultants and general contractors.
• Draft contracts, change orders, and RFPs for contractors and consultants; monitor schedule and budget.
• Conduct day-to-day site reviews and respond to field questions; ensure compliance with construction documents.
