Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Project Manager II to lead multiple campus construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring adherence to design documents, schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with designers, contractors, inspectors, DSA, and college stakeholders, develop construction phasing and swing space plans, oversee FF&E and relocation activities, and report progress to College, District, and PMO leadership.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience managing multiple construction projects.
• 2 years' experience in educational facility design and construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

The Project Manager II manages multiple campus construction projects with values ranging from $5M-$100M. This role oversees projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with design documents, schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

• Conducting field reviews to ensure compliance with DSA, and design documents

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7 years managing multiple construction projects
• 2 years' experience in educational facility design and construction

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large capital improvement programs
• Knowledge of California Public Contract Code
• Experience with DSA and alternative delivery methods
• Professional licensure (Architect or PE) and/or CCM certification
