Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group in Savannah, GA, seeks a Project Manager to lead safety efforts and manage complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors; manage buyouts, submittals, and schedules; and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of data center, semiconductor, and manufacturing projects.

Ideal candidates have a degree in construction management or related field and 5+ years of construction management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness.
• Manages the prestart process and plan.
• Supports preconstruction: quantity takeoff, trade coordination, scope development.
• Leads buyout schedule, verifies pricing and scope.
• Manages the submittal schedule and approvals.
• Ensures submittals are returned to subcontractors on time.
• Coordinates pricing with logistics for materials/equipment.
• Interacts with risk management for bonding requirements.
• Coordinates stakeholders: subs, owner, field, design, vendors.
• Disseminates change requests and evaluates subcontractor pricing.
• Prepares and obtains owner/architect change approvals.
• Leads monthly project reviews and OAC meetings.
• Oversees monthly subcontractor/owner pay applications.
• Develops project schedule with Lean principles.
• Tracks costs and updates budget; analyzes variances.
• Leads project closeout and documentation.
