Job summary

Hoar Construction, LLC is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to oversee the entire construction process from start to finish. You will coordinate vendors, manage contracts, meet client expectations, and handle risk, with travel up to 30% as needed.

You will lead assistant PMs, maintain budgets, prepare documentation, and act as the owner's representative on complex projects, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 4-10 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site experience in the management of new construction and the renovation of existing assets
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software such as SureTrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of assistant project managers and participate in delivering training for other project and some field staff.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters etc.
• Provide planning, administration, programming, design, construction and technical support to ensure all construction projects are executed per standards.
• Develop and ensure budgetary controls for each project to monitor progress and budget.
• Review documentation related to project construction administration, contractor payments, change orders, inspections, quality controls, safety and contract compliance.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze contractor proposals.
• Attend owners planning meetings for input on construction and renovation projects.
• Serve as owner's representative in contracts execution and administration.
• Prepare and review budgets and scope amendments for changes in funding and change orders.
• Attend planning and status meetings.
• Search for new business and grow relationships with clients.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, RFPs, SWAs, EWO's, PCO's, procurement.
• Develop project plan with SSRs, monthly projections, change orders and pricing for owner, monitor pay applications and cash flow.
• Maintain understanding of contract documents.
