Job summary

HL Contractors, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from startup to completion.

You will develop budgets, CP schedules, submittals, and buyouts, and supervise field personnel to deliver on time, within budget and to high quality standards. The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial construction Project Manager.
• Understanding of building systems, materials, design and management strategies.
• Experience with scheduling, ordering, quality control and production in all divisions of commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains budgets and CP schedules.
• Directs field personnel to meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Manages subcontractors and operations for productivity and profit.
• Identifies issues and proactively solves problems.
• Orders equipment and materials and schedules inspections.
• Administers all construction documents, submittals, transmittals and close out documentation.
• Promotes job site safety and enforces safety policies.
