Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Tampa, FL to assist with coordination of construction projects from planning through execution. You will help develop concepts, organize schedules, and oversee implementation while coordinating with subcontractors and owners.

The role requires 1–3 years in construction and experience with tools like Procore, Viewpoint, Revit, and VICO. A valid driver’s license and BIM/MS Office proficiency are required, with LEED DBIA credentials a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Building Science or Construction Management.
• 1–3 years experience in the construction industry required; healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Viewpoint, Revit, and VICO.
• BIM, MS Excel and MS Word required.
• LEED AP and/or Design-Build Institute of America a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Update schedule with supplied information.
• Follow up and maintain timely material deliveries.
• Assist in estimating and soliciting subcontractors in the bidding and pricing process.
• Checkout qualifications of subcontractors and review for final approval with Project Manager.
• Assist in maintaining the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and cost.
• Maintain SBI report.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing for accuracy and issuing change orders to subcontractors and material vendors.
• Prepare monthly pay applications and obtain lien releases from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
• Prepare meeting minutes for all on-site meetings with subcontractors and Owner.
• Prepare and monitor all requests for information (RFI's) and maintain RFI Log.
• Receive, review, check and monitor the entire submittal process.
• Maintain current construction documents.
