Job summary

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the assigned Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, VP of Construction, and President in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Liaise with general contractors, engineers, architects, fabrication shop, field teams & vendors;
  • Review plans/specifications, understand the Scope of Work and recognise safety standards;
  • Develop project proposals, cost estimates, budgets, timelines and schedules;
  • Negotiate, award and issue subcontractor agreements and purchase orders and change orders;
  • Supervise in-house crew, subcontractor, and vendors for performance and delivery according to project plans and specifications;
  • Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction;
  • Ensure and inspect that manpower, materials, and equipment are delivered on time and in compliance with specifications;
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure all projects are within budget and in accordance to the project schedules;
  • Process submittals and issue RFIs to general contractor for review and approval;
  • Maintain submittal and RFI status reports;
  • Compile daily job reports, as needed;
  • Verify subcontractor’s invoice with jobsite progress;
  • Represent the Company in business with owners, subcontractors, vendors, etc.;
  • Conduct construction activities within federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations;
  • Punch list management;
  • Warranty review and procurement;
  • Attend project meetings when necessary.
  • Manage project documentation and workflows in Procore
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or construction management experience (internship experience may be considered).
  • Experience in construction, mechanical/HVAC, engineering, or related industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
SKILLS
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and construction processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, Autodesk, MS Project, or similar) preferred.
  • Understanding of cost tracking, purchase orders, and change orders.
PREFERRED
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Entry-level project management certification (CAPM or similar).
  • Exposure to mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems.
