Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects in Florida. The role oversees scheduling, budgeting, bidding and contract administration for multi-million-dollar builds, and may serve as site manager as needed.

8+ years of construction experience, preferably in healthcare, with Proliance/MS Project/Excel/Word proficiency. Full-time on-site position based in Boynton Beach with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

The Project Manager 3 is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion construction projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding and contract administration functions. Simultaneously manages multiple technical complex projects or single projects in aggregate generally above $30 million. Assumes the duties of a facility site manager as needed. The position requires the ability to manage projects within the state of Florida. May have International traveling. Estimated salary range for this position is $105647.55 - $137341.82 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • Bachelors.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Preferred 4-year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum, (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree.
  • 8 years of experience as an assistant project manager or at least 10 years construction related experience.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare construction.
  • Demonstrated competency in the areas: of estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, end user relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, ability to communicate, both written and oral.
  • Generally understand the essential job functions, duties and responsibilities of a superintendent.
  • Experience in the inspection process of projects.
  • Competence with PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications preferred.
  • These include: Proliance, MS Project, Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver license and clean driving record as occasional driving maybe required with a company vehicle.
