Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the planning, design, and management of assigned construction projects.
• Works independently through all phases of a project, including schedule and budget monitoring.
• Oversees architectural and engineering design, coordinates with hospital departments for design and equipment specifications, and develops bid packages.
• Secures bids from general contractors and collaborates with the manager to scope and qualify bids.
• Coordinates facility-related shutdowns and may work off-hours as needed. Reviews and acts on project correspondence, provides recommendations on project matters to supervisor, manager and Senior Management.
• Manages the installation of furniture and other equipment related to construction projects and other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to manage project budgets in excess of $ 5 million.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required - 4 years - Construction; Or - 8 years - Relevant experience with Associates; Or - 12 years - Relevant experience with High School or equivalent
• Preferred - 15 years - Construction; Preferred - 15 years - Project Management; Preferred - 6 years - Hospital in related field.
• Healthcare Construction experience highly preferred
