Job summary

Jobot in Seattle seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and project teams. You will develop schedules and budgets, lead meetings with owners, architects and subs, negotiate subcontracts, review costs and change orders, and ensure safe, on-time delivery.

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls.

  • Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout; primary client/subcontractor contact.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; coordinate meetings and reporting.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements; review costs and change orders.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and timely delivery; manage project risks and client satisfaction.

Job Details

The Construction Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project teams. This individual will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, risk mitigation, and overall project execution while ensuring successful project delivery.

Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
  • Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements
  • Review project costs, forecasts, and change orders
  • Coordinate project teams to ensure timely execution
  • Monitor quality control and safety compliance efforts
  • Resolve project challenges and maintain client satisfaction
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation projects
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls
  • Proficiency with construction management software platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple
