Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join our construction team in Reno, NV. The role oversees overall execution of construction projects, including financials, scheduling, subcontractor management, contract administration, safety, quality, and client relationships.

You will manage projects up to $25M, collaborate with owners, engineers, vendors and agencies, develop CPM schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience managing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and change orders.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including projects up to $25M.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, schedules, staffing, and overall project performance.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules, including CPM and short-term schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, crews, materials, and equipment.
• Manage subcontract negotiations, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor payments.
• Review contracts and ensure project teams comply with contractual requirements.
• Lead communication with owners, engineers, agencies, utility companies, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project risks, conflicts, schedule impacts, and construction challenges.
• Oversee project safety and quality requirements, including safety audits and project quality-control plans.
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and other project team members.
• Assist with estimating, field operations, claims, and project closeout as needed.
• Ensure projects consistently meet company safety, quality, financial, and operational expectations.

• Experience with CPM scheduling and critical-path activities.


• Strong client-facing communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
