Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support large-scale construction, utility, and facility expansion projects in the Reno/Sparks area. You will manage multiple concurrent projects from planning through execution, ensuring schedule, budget, scope, and quality objectives are met.

The ideal candidate will have a background in MEP or Civil Construction, with strong communication, organization, and project reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple construction projects.
• Background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and/or Civil Construction.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and accrual management.
• Experience developing and maintaining construction schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise project reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage 2-10 concurrent construction and utility-related projects at varying stages of completion.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, cost, budget, and overall project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Track project financials, including budgets, forecasts, accruals, and cost performance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to management, communicating scope, schedule progress, budget status, risks, and milestones.
• Coordinate activities between contractors, vendors, designers, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Effectively manage project changes, risks, and issue resolution.
• Utilize Procore or similar construction management platforms to manage workflows and documentation.
• Ensure projects meet established quality, safety, and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while providing clear and consistent updates to leadership.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise project reporting to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 scheduling experience.
• Experience supporting large industrial, manufacturing, utility, or infrastructure projects.
