Glocap Tech LLC, on behalf of our client, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of high-end custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and acoustic packages for premier commercial and luxury interiors. Qualifications

• 8-15 years of project management experience within commercial construction, interior fit-outs, or custom architectural woodworking manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings, submittals, and specifications.
• Familiarity with AWI quality standards and luxury interior finishes; $5M–$15M project scope experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from contract award through shop drawing coordination, procurement, fabrication, and site installation.
• Oversee submittals and review shop drawings for custom elements, veneers, laminates, and integrated components.
• Ensure millwork quality meets AWI Premium Grade standards.
• Control budgets, change orders, and track financial performance to maintain margins.
• Coordinate production schedules and field execution across the NYC metro area.

Position Overview

Our client seeks an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of high-end custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and acoustic packages for premier commercial and luxury interiors. This leadership-level opportunity is for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment and can seamlessly bring complex architectural visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects seamlessly from contract award through shop drawing coordination, material procurement, fabrication, and final site installation.
• Oversee complex submittals, ensure strict alignment with architectural design intent, and review shop drawings for custom elements including specialized veneers, laminates, and integrated architectural components.
• Ensure that all millwork and assemblies are manufactured and executed to premium industry standards, specifically meeting AWI Premium Grade requirements.
• Control project budgets, manage change orders, track financial performance, and maintain target project margins.
• Coordinate production schedules with internal shop fabrication teams while managing trade schedules, field measurements, and on-site execution for high-profile client spaces across the metropolitan area.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 8-15 years of project management experience within commercial construction, interior fit-outs, or custom architectural woodworking manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in interpreting complex architectural drawings, submittals, and specifications.

Compensation & Location

• Workplace Type: Hybrid. In-person collaboration is required 3 days a week at the operations-based office in Passaic, New Jersey, plus 10–30% local site visits across the New York City metro area.
