Job summary

CLT Recruiters is seeking a seasoned Millwork Project Manager to lead the transformation of design intent into actionable shop drawings, fabrication, and installation for luxury residential interiors in New York. You will bridge architects' drawings with shop capabilities, ensuring budget adherence and schedule discipline.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with architectural millwork, proficiency in Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD, and the ability to communicate effectively with both shop

• 5+ years in architectural millwork—design, PM or both.
• Fluent in Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD.
• Read architectural drawings and produce shop drawings from them.
• Direct experience with high-end residential interiors.
• Comfortable talking to a shop floor and to an architect in the same afternoon.

Job description

Our client is the in-house millwork division of an established Long Island City general contractor, producing architectural woodwork for luxury residential interiors across New York City. Everything is made in the firm's own shop, which means the design, the shop drawings and the installation all sit under one roof.

The role

You will take architectural millwork from design intent through shop drawings, fabrication and installation - the bridge between the architect's drawing and what the shop can actually build, on budget and on schedule.

• Coordinate with the shop on materials, methods, sequencing and capacity.
• Own the schedule and budget for millwork packages.

What we are looking for

• Five or more years in architectural millwork - design, project management or both.
• Fluent in Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD.

Compensation and benefits

$110,000 - $135,000, depending on experience.

• Medical coverage through UHC Oxford, EPO or PPO, with the employer paying 50% of the single premium. Eligible after 90 days.
• 401(k) with the company matching 50% of the first 3% of salary. Eligible after six months.
• 10 paid days off.

Compensation:
$110,000-$135,000 per year
