Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial low-voltage and technology infrastructure projects in the greater New York area. You will manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholders while ensuring safety and quality.

This onsite role offers a company vehicle, a strong project backlog, and the opportunity to lead complex telecom and security infrastructure deployments for high-profile clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience managing commercial low-voltage construction projects.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, security systems, cabling and fiber optics.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, forecasting and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and clients.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial low-voltage and technology infrastructure projects throughout the greater New York area.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial low-voltage projects from award through closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, labor utilization, and profitability
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project scope
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget
• Support business development through relationship management and exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience managing commercial low-voltage construction projects
• Hands-on experience managing projects involving access control, CCTV, security systems, structured cabling, fiber optics, and technology infrastructure
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project documentation
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and clients
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise security or integrated technology projects
• Experience with union labor environments
• Previous field experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Technician, or Project Engineer
• Existing relationships within the New York low-voltage construction market

• Travel to project sites throughout the region as needed
