Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial projects across the United States. You will lead planning, procurement, execution, and closeout, ensuring safety, budget, and quality compliance on high-profile projects.

The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in project management, and proven ability to manage complex scopes with vendors and stakeholders. Travel and a competitive package are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years in project management within engineering or construction.
• Strong understanding of project management practices, processes, and standards.
• Proven experience with project documentation, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change order pricing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
• OSHA-30 certification and ability to manage safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Project Managers for Multiple locations around the U.S.. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering, construction, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial projects, from planning and procurement to execution and completion. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage all project resources, including procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and change order pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring OSHA-30 certification requirements are met.
• Handle any issues or crises that arise, demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy in stressful situations.
• Use MS Office and other software systems to effectively manage projects and communicate with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent levels of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the engineering or construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards related to project management.
• Proven experience with project documentation, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change order pricing.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• Excellent MS Office skills and the ability/drive to learn new software systems.
• Experience with construction management and commercial projects.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
