Job summary

Diverse Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee federal government construction projects in McLean, VA. You will manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance from pre-construction through close-out, collaborating with the FCI Team, subcontractors, procurement, and agencies.

Responsibilities include project controls, RFIs and submittals, three-phase control, and field reporting. Strong FAR/DFARS knowledge and a 3+ year track record are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination, with a strong focus on government contracting.
  • USA Citizen.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting procedures (FAR, DFARS) and public works compliance.
  • Familiarity with prevailing wage, certified payroll, and other reporting requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred (but not required with equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules along with 3-week look-ahead calendars.
  • Maintain action item logs and deliverable tracking.
  • Oversee procurement tracking and project dashboards.
  • Track risk and manage RFIs and submittals, including shop drawings and product data.
  • Coordinate three-phase control: preparatory meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections.
  • Manage field QC plans and daily QC reports.
  • Maintain deficiency logs and closeout documentation.
