ForUs Contracting Inc. seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead government construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance across teams, subcontractors, and agencies.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction project coordination with government contracting knowledge, strong organization, and proficiency in Procore or MS Project. USA citizenship is required; OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination, with a focus on government contracting.
  • USA Citizenship required.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and public works reporting.
  • Familiarity with prevailing wage, certified payroll, and related requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore or MS Project.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (but not required with equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Manage project controls including schedules, look-ahead planning, deliverable tracking, and dashboards.
  • Oversee RFI and submittal management, shop drawings, product data, samples, and technical coordination.
  • Coordinate three-phase control: preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections.
  • Direct field reporting: QC plans, daily reports, deficiency logs, and closeout documentation.

As the Construction Project Manager, you will play a vital role in managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance requirements for federal government construction projects. You'll work closely with the FCI Team, subcontractors, procurement, and government agencies to ensure smooth and successful project execution from pre-construction through close-out.
