Job summary

Gray Construction is looking for a Project Management intern at its Jackson, GA jobsite for Summer 2027. You will support the design and engineering coordination between engineers for the customers’ process, equipment, and installation, while gaining exposure to estimating, bidding, and subcontract procurement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and engineering between engineers for the customers’ process, equipment, and installation.
• Assist the PM team in estimating, bidding, and subcontract procurement on projects.
• Coordinate construction management activities and scheduling on projects.
• Develop, maintain, and report project status; assist in developing project proposals.
• Create and maintain departmental electronic files, forms, and brochures.
• Organize and maintain the file system and correspondence for the manager.
• Assist in drafting routine correspondence and coordinating documents for release.
• Coordinate proposal and bid package information; track vendor relations and meeting minutes.
• Prepare meeting agendas, reserve facilities, and transcribe minutes.
• Support Gray’s safety program implementation and other duties as assigned.
