Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate intern to gain hands-on experience in commercial and industrial construction. You will build relationships with clients and subcontractors, assist engineers in scheduling, and help forecast costs and budgets on multi‑million dollar projects.

Responsibilities include supporting change orders, RFIs, and documentation, while adopting a safety‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student with enrollment at an accredited university.
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, cross‑functional approach.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus.
• Creative, results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency.
• Prior internship or project engineering experience on projects valued at $5M+ (design‑build experience preferred).
• Commitment to upholding a Safety-First culture.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, capable of independent work and teamwork.
• Physically capable of navigating active construction sites and job sites.
• Willingness to travel nationwide as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives.
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities.
• Receive leadership and guidance to support project teams through all phases.
