Job summary

LPU Batangas in Cleveland, OH seeks an intern to support the Director/Architect with assigned construction projects. This part-time role involves meetings with Architects, contractors, and staff, coordinating schedules, and using CAD and Microsoft Office tools to assist project delivery.

The candidate should be pursuing an Associate's degree in Construction Management or related fields, demonstrating problem solving, organization, and strong customer service. Exposure to BIM/CAD is valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved Construction Management or related program working toward an Associate's degree.
• Experience making sound decisions affecting a work unit.
• Experience solving problems using diverse methods.
• Knowledge of blueprints, CAD/BIM, and construction site safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director/Architect with managing assigned construction projects.
• Attend meetings with Architects, Construction Manager Advisor, Contractors, and Tri-C staff.
• Make follow-up calls and coordinate work schedules.
• Use Excel, Word, program management software, and CAD tools on projects.
• Assist developing quotes and estimates.
• Provide administrative support and contract management tasks.
• Investigate discrepancies and help drive improvements and efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
