Job summary

LPU Batangas is offering a 12-week summer internship in Minnesota, USA, supporting the project management team with coordination, material tracking, and document control. You will learn estimating, scheduling, and project reporting while gaining exposure to construction plans and client interaction.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Construction or Engineering programs, with strong communication, time management, and a proactive attitude toward learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related fields.
• Enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class this semester.
• Positive attitude toward learning and professional development.
• Ethical conduct and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good time management and teamwork orientation.
• Preferred knowledge of route surveying and scheduling.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possess or able to obtain a valid state driver’s license before employment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned project office.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.
• Learn and perform project management functions including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understand and learn construction plans.
• Interact professionally with clients, managers, and employees.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
