Job summary

Legence is seeking a Project Management Intern to gain hands-on site experience and mentorship from a Project Manager. You will work with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure on-time, on-budget, value-added projects while learning budgeting, safety, submittals, and effective communication.

You’ll collaborate with architects, owners, and facility staff to support project success and professional growth in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or related field
• Junior or Senior status preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to project sites
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Proven ability to listen carefully and work well on a team
• Desire to learn quickly and grow professionally
• Ability to attend project-related meetings outside of normal business hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Proven integrity and ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining project budget and schedule
• Coordinate on-site project team, contractors, vendors, and owner communications
• Maintain safety culture on project site
• Communicate with owner and stakeholders regularly
• Attend project meetings with necessary stakeholders
• Assist in compiling pricing and estimates for submittals
• Ensure permits are obtained from relevant agencies
• Support understanding of construction process, progress, timelines and budget
• Follow internal processes and delivery methods for projects
• Collaborate with site superintendent, project director, and project coordinator
• Other duties as assigned
