Job summary

LPU Batangas invites a construction management-oriented student to join our team in Long Beach, CA, for an internship focused on contract administration and quality control support. You will assist with general and subcontract administration, document control, and information distribution while learning about project QC programs.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CM/ME/CE or related field.
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Resourceful with problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist team with General Contract and Subcontract administration
• Learn about Quality Control programs and coordinate actions to address problems
• Control documents including RFI postings and contract documents
• Distribute construction information to appropriate parties
• Work with PE(s), SPE(s), and APM(s) to compile contract close-out documents such as O&M manuals and As-Builts
• Assist in preparation of a contract items list
• Research and suggest options on construction means, methods, and equipment
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
