Job summary

Concrete Strategies in Greenville, SC is seeking a Project Leader to oversee multitier construction projects from setup to closeout, coordinating procurement, scheduling, cost reporting, and safety compliance. The role requires leadership of project teams and direct collaboration with GC/Owner.

You will manage contracts, change orders, and communications, while mentoring Project Engineers and driving efficiency through accurate budgeting and resource planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with adaptable and flexible style.
• Project setup, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience.
• Good understanding of critical path scheduling.
• Experience leading successful project teams and maintaining relationships with external entities.
• Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated; able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding.

• Contract/Scope review and execution.
• Project safety compliance.
• Job cost spread and estimate review.
• Project sequencing and scheduling.
• Project quantity/progress tracking.
• Project cost reporting.
• Invoice coding and approval.
• Material/equipment procurement.
• Change order request issuance/tracking.
• Develop basic change order pricing.
• Coordination with GC/Owner.
• Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources.
• Mentoring Project Engineers.
