Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Senior Project Manager and Project Manager on all aspects of a project in the Project Management division.

The role emphasizes document control (RFIs, submittals, material delivery), subcontractor coordination, and project reporting. The APM will interact with Owners, OPMs, and design teams, driving resolution during weekly meetings and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or architecture.
• 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Familiar with cost management and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a main point of contact for Owners, OPMs and Design Team members.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with subcontractors, design teams and owners.
• Support cost and change management; prepare reports for owners and internal meetings.
• Assist in estimates and bid proposals for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Oversee Project Engineer duties including document control, RFIs, submittals, material tracking.
• Mentor and train project team members, including Project Engineers.
• Maintain relations with subcontractors and manage submittal timelines.
• Ensure contracts and insurance are in place before work begins.
• Coordinate with schedulers to update master schedule with field input.
• Assist in issue resolution focusing on quality, cost and schedule.
