Job summary

Atlantic Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to join its growing construction team. You will work closely with Project Managers and Executives to own the financial performance of multiple construction projects.

Key duties include analyzing profitability, preparing monthly reports and WIP schedules, tracking costs and cash flow, and supporting project closeout. The role requires a data-driven mindset, strong Excel skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting, finance, project accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills — Pivot Tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
• Sage Intacct, Procore, or similar systems a plus.
• Understanding of WIP, percentage-of-completion, forecasting, and project costs preferred.
• Hard-working, dependable, personable, and outgoing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project profitability, budgets, and forecasts
• Prepare monthly project financial reports and WIP schedules
• Track costs, commitments, change orders, billing, and cash flow
• Perform cost-to-complete and budget-to-actual analysis
• Identify financial risks, variances, and opportunities
• Partner with Project Managers and Project Executives
• Support project closeout and final cost reconciliation
