Job summary

JPJ Staffing is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to manage construction and related project activities in the United States. You will monitor progress, coordinate meetings, and ensure documentation and costs are tracked accurately from site to client approval.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus the ability to travel to project sites and work with owners and developers to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with office software and Microsoft products.
• Construction or project engineering experience.
• Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical issues on the project.
• Travel to project sites to monitor progress.
• Update logs tracking progress or cost.
• Test products or install systems for client approval.
• Maintain and monitor project blueprints, estimations, materials and personnel.
• Organize and attend meetings.
• Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained.
• Assess risks and propose solutions.
• Lead and facilitate meetings, distributing minutes.
• Ensure data in historical databases is accurate.
