JP Cullen is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to support on-site construction projects, coordinating daily activities with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and high-quality results.

Ideal candidates have a construction or engineering background, strong written and verbal communication, and a drive for fast growth with responsibility. This role offers on-site work with potential advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; proficient with a wide range of computer programs and eager to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction methods (crane reaches, formwork design, erosion control, grading).
• Prepare sketches/drawings to show field conditions to architects and clarify plan details for crews.
• Verify installation quality against specifications and drawings.
• Process RFIs from the field and ensure correct incorporation of answers.
• Participate in planning, weekly coordination, and daily crew huddles/meetings.
• Organize pre-install meetings with subcontractors and on-site labor; prepare agendas and ensure attendance.
• Monitor delivery schedules and inspect shipments as directed by the Superintendent.
• Assist with project closeout by expediting punchlists and tracking completion.
