Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support contract administration, scheduling, estimating, and field operations. You will help manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and daily reports, coordinating with field teams and subcontractors to keep projects on track and within budget.

The role requires a technical degree, strong reading of drawings, and solid written and verbal communication. On-site work with safety and quality focus is expected.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in a technical discipline and ability to read drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Aptitude for basic engineering or construction principles.
• Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration and document control, including drawings, specifications, submittals and RFIs.
• Prepare and review quantity reporting, closeout documents and final payments.
• Maintain DFS filing system and distribute change requests for pricing and schedule impact.
• Support scheduling by updating progress and assisting 3-week look ahead planning.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, field teams and vendors on day-to-day activities.
• Perform quality inspections of self-perform and subcontractor work to ensure plans are followed.
