Job summary

Actalent, a real estate developer, seeks a Construction Coordinator / Project Engineer to support projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will liaise with project teams, contractors, and trade partners to ensure documentation, invoicing, permits, and coordination stay on schedule.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, gaining exposure to all construction lifecycle phases and growing toward a Project Manager role within a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 1+ year of construction management experience.
• Procore experience.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Experience working for a GC (General Contractor).
• Familiarity with RFIs, permitting, subcontractor management, bidding, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Manage project documentation, tracking, and reporting within Procore.
• Coordinate RFIs, bid packages, permits, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Track subcontractor proposals, vendor documentation, and COIs.
• Process and monitor project invoices.
• Maintain organized project records and documentation.
• Document and distribute meeting minutes.
• Assist with contractor coordination and communication regarding project deliverables.
• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with planning and execution.
• Participate in project site visits and meetings with contractors as needed.
