Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Project Engineer to assist Project Managers in ensuring work aligns with plans and specifications. You will review shop drawings, assess constructability, and communicate discrepancies to architects while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities include attending meetings, publishing progress reports, updating schedules, and supporting bidding and scope development for subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills; clear writing and speaking.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel; scheduling software experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints; Spanish basics helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Managers to ensure work meets plan and specification requirements.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
• Communicates inconsistencies to architect and values cost-saving methods.
• Attend and take notes for project team meetings and distribute minutes.
